He is survived by: his children, Cyprus, Key West, Bainbridge, John Jirik (Kim) of Orr, MN, Tammy Murphy (Joe) of New Prague and Steve Jirik of New Prague; his grandchildren, Katie, Tommie, Madisson, Charlie and Leo; and his siblings, Robert Jirik of Prior Lake, Kay Hanzel (Chuck) of Walker, MN and Emil "Sonny" Jirik (Barbara) of New Prague.
