Diane Helmer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Helmer of New Prague, Minnesota, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Koehnen and Leila Koehnen (Heitkamp); her brother Thomas; and her brother-in-law Vincent Wherley Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Leila Koehnen of Harris, MN, Katie Helmer of New Prague and Malinda Helmer of New Prague; her grandchildren, Whitselly, Nageli, Daniel, Ismael and Lamarcus; her great grandchild Miguel; her sister Susan Wherley of Green Isle; her sister-in-law Kathy Koehnen of Salem, MO; her niece Cindy Pieper (Nathan); and her nephew Chris Wherley (Samantha). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bertas Funeral Home (200 W 3rd St, Chaska, MN 55318). A prayer was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
