He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Wilbert, Caroline Shimota, Donald and Virginia Odette; and his uncle Larry Odette.
He is survived by: his parents, Allen Shimota and Joyce Shimota (Odette); his children, Vanessa, Thomas and Ella; his siblings, Chad of Prior Lake, Amy Krueger (Tim) of Jordan and Dr. Megan Dillman (Rick) of Burnsville; and the mother of his children Kara Deutsch Shimota of Montgomery.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (4939 Washington St, Lonsdale, MN 55046). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made for the benefit of Chris's children.
