He was predeceased by: his godfather Kenneth Holdvogt; his grandparents, Norbert, Helen Holdvogt, Joseph Sr. and Marie Wielenberg; and his niece Evelyn Mueller.
He is survived by: his parents, Alvin Holdvogt and Bernadette Holdvogt (Wielenberg) of New Munich; his siblings, Judy Jensen (Pierre) of Clear Lake, Gerald Holdvogt (Naomi) of New Munich, Teresa Mueller (Jon) of Avon, Betty Holdvogt (Trent Habiger) of Dallas, Joanie Hiltner (Ryan) of Sartell, Katie Lauer (Eric) of St. Martin and Gina Holdvogt (Austin Mittleider) of Alexandria; and his pet Hershey. He is also survived by eight nephews and seven nieces with one on the way; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
