He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Humbert and Carrie Humbert (Schwegman); his wife Luella Mayers; his great grandchild Nathan; his sisters, Martha Zierden and Marian Osendorf; and his siblings-in-law, Leo Zierden, Jack Armitage, Jerry Scholz, Donald, Ray, Ervin, Sylvester Mayers, Viola Scholz, Monica Mayers and Alda Mae Mayers.
He is survived by: his children, Audrey Roering (LeRoy) of Sauk Centre, Dieter (Laurie) of International Falls, Jerry (Cyndi) of Paynesville, Sheila Humbert of New Munich, Karen Beier (Tom) of St Martin and Lori Tjaden (Jeff) of Sunburg; his sister Dolores Armitage; and his siblings-in-law, Joe Osendorf and Jeanette Mayers. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren.
