He was predeceased by: his mother Rose Wiechmann (Austing); his wife Mae Wiechmann; his father Bill Wiechmann; his sons, Gary Wiechmann and John Wiechmann; his siblings, Ervin Wiechmann (Viola), Florentine Korf (Jerry) and Lorraine Schaefer; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Pohlman and Vernon Stroeing.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Angela Mae; his children, Tom Wiechmann (Joanne) of Melrose, Mary Jo Katz of Bemidji and Karen Hoppe (Greg) of Big Lake, Ala; his sisters, Clarice Massman (Julius) of Osakis, Carol Pohlmann of Melrose and Margie Stroeing of Freeport; and his brother-in-law Al Schaefer of New Munich. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
