He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanne; and his siblings, Donna Kerber, Ray Friedges, Bob Cervenka and Kay Friedges.

He is survived by: his children, Jodee Jones (David), Jeremy Friedges, Jamee Anderson (David) and Jason Friedges (Krystle); his grandchildren, Tessa, Talia, Tru, Cody, Sydnee, Maryn, Claire Carter and Alexis; and his siblings, David Friedges (Madalen), Shirley Cervenka, Ritchie Friedges, Jackie Franek (Joe) and Joe Friedges (Deanna). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
