He is survived by: his children, Wendy Meyer (Greg) of Oskaloosa, Trudy Johnson (Victor) and Doug Dietrich of New Prague, MN.; his brother Steven Dietrich (Carolyn) of Titonka, IA.; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Bagley (Alan), Nathan Meyer, Ashley Presley (Brandon), Bailey Johnson, Adam Johnson, Evan Johnson and Andrew Dietrich.
