He was predeceased by: his parents, Basel Evans and Lillian Evans (Hansen); his stepmother Esther; and his sister Susan Gimbel. He is survived by: his wife Wila Hemmen; his children, Rick Evans (Chris), Dan Evans, Dennis Evans (Karla), Lance Evans (Lori), Scott Evans (Diane) and Joellen Evans-Allee (Steve Pung); and his brother Basel Evans. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spicer American Legion Post 545 (155 Lake Ave S, Spicer, MN 56288).
