He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Fannie Smith (McKibben); his wife Gedina (Norby); his daughter Linda Nordvik; and his grandson Andrew Nordvik.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Smith (LouAnn) of Plymouth and Kimberly Wendlandt (Lee) of New London; his grandchildren, Artemus Nordvik (Cassie), Wyatt Nordvik, Cory Smith (Makenzie), Kelly Christensen (Ryan), Hannah Wendlandt, Emily Plantenberg (Josh) and Seth Wendlandt; his great grandchildren, Kree, Jonah, Maxwell, Clara, Ella and Beck; his siblings, Thomas Smith (Joyce) of Cogan Station, PA, Ruth Brown of Carlisle, PA and Cheryl Fuller of Mill Hall, PA; and his son-in-law Brian Nordvik (Dori). He is also survived by children, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
