It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gene Hanson of New London, Minnesota, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hanson and Thelma Hanson (Norbie); his wife Shirley Carstens of Belgrade; his son Jon; his grandson Nick; and his brother James.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Hanson (Joan) of Shoreview and Patti Jo Schroeder (Dan) of Spicer; his grandchildren, Kristine, Katie and Derek; his great grandchildren, Kendall, Ethan, Nolan, Madison, Kellen, Charlotte, Addi and Kyler; and his siblings, LaVaughn Govig, Neola Peterson (Dale), Dianne Hall and Cindy Rondeau (Jerry).
In lieu of flowers, memorial will be directed to PLS Foundation.
