He was predeceased by: his parents, C. W. Magnuson and Beatrice Magnuson (Levitz); his son-in-law Robert Gould; his siblings, Gary Magnuson and Kay Whisenant (Chuck); his brother-in-law Scott Gandrud; and his nephews, Scott Magnuson and Jeff Magnuson.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Gandrud of New London; his children, Christian Magnuson of Spicer, Stephanie Magnuson Gould (Jason) of Minneapolis and Jessica Mateja (Peter) of San Jose, CA; his grandchildren, Nic (Whit), Luke (Gretchen), James, Sawyer Magnuson, Chas, Sullivan Gould and Amelie Mateja; his great grandchildren, Everette and Aria Magnuson; his brother John Magnuson (Mavis) of Holdingford; his siblings-in-law, Chuck Whisenant, Bev Jensen (Magnuson) and Carey John Koch (Terri Bonfiglia); and his nephew Rob Gandrud (Kim). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
