She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivory Barron and Isal Barron (Allen); and her husband Robert Staebler (Bob). She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Johnson (Kevin) and Karyn Thompson (Steven); and her grandchildren, Jared Johnson (Rachael), Larissa Andreen (Jeremy) and Kyle Thompson. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren and other beloved family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glen Haven Chapel (5125 W Broadway, Minneapolis, MN 55429). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lakewood Cemetery (3600 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55408).
In lieu of flowers, Sylvia would have wanted friends and family to donate to a charity of their choosing.
