He was predeceased by: his wife June Van Heel (Block); his parents, Elenor E. Heel (Korte) and Clemens R. Van Heel; his siblings, May, Bob, Cathy and Roger; his grandchildren, Brittney Danielle, Jonathan and Scott; and his great grandchild Jetta.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Van Heel (Pam), Tracy Van Heel (Brenda), Randy Van Heel (Barb), Mark Van Heel (Jeri), Jodi Lien (Rich) and Kelly Townsend (Jim); his grandchildren, Lindsey (Kyle), Tyler (Amy), Jasmine, Joshua (Kathy), Nathan (Nicole), Alissa (Joe), Ashley (Mike), Kirsten, David, Brittney Renee (Travis), Zachary (Desuana), Rick (Jenny), Andrew (Ashley) and Alex; his great grandchildren, Vandyn, Silas, Avery, Beckett, Xander, Merrick, Corbin, Kassie, Gabby, Ben, Jaden, Jax, Finn, Eden, Isabelle, Charlie, Liam, Evelyn and Laura; and his siblings, Chuck (Marilyn) and Lynn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Raphael (7307 Bass Lake Rd, Crystal, MN 55428).
