He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel and Marion. He is survived by: his wife Terry; his children, Daniel, Sarah Evans (Steve), Thomas (Jhoanna), Samuel (Kyla), Michael (Katie) and Elizabeth Garberich (Gerrit); his grandchildren, Phoebe, Winnie and Jackson; his pet Hannah; his close friend Charlie Brown; and his siblings, Scott, Dana and Jenny Greiling (Jim). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorials are preferred to the Hennepin County Animal Humane Society or the American Red Cross.
