He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Parkin and Marion Parkin (Meifert). He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Carol Glader (Tom), Dave Parkin (Kris) and Linda Parkin; his grandchildren, Katie Glader (Nick Koelz), Becky Anderson (Caleb), Kelsey Parkin (Sam Johnson) and Daniel Parkin; his great grandchild Zeke Anderson; and his sister Sandy Smith (Ken). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
