It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Schwebach of New Brighton, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Sara Ann Pogorely (Nate), Michael and Julie Casillas (Robert); his grandchildren, Micah, Leo, Ava and Giana; and his sister Mary Ann Newinski.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Kozlak-Radulovich Funeral Chapel-Minneapolis (1918 University Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Orthodox Cathedral (1701 5th St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413).
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to the Cathedral Repair fund.
