She was predeceased by: her son Peter Van Ooyen; and her brother Mike Eaton. She is survived by: her children, Paul Van Ooyen and Karen Kaplan; her children-in-law, Jennifer Van Ooyen and Andy Kaplan (Joel Duskey); her brother Steve Eaton; her grandchildren, Ben, Dan, Zoe, Katie, Caden, Jacob, Paige and Alex; and her great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Opal, Amaya, Abel, Ember, Dahlia and Maliya.
