He was predeceased by: his sister Christie. He is survived by: his wife Carole Ann Winters; his children, Heather Carroll (Ben) and Joseph Winters (Paul); his grandchildren, Rebecca Wendt (Ed), Emily Carroll, Meriam Carroll and Benny Carroll; and his great grandchild Edward Dean Wendt III.
