He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Bergs and Martha Bergs (Frauendienst); his wife Evelyn Bergs; his brothers, Elroy Bergs (Mayda) and Raymond Bergs (Gladys); and his nephews-in-law, James Hartmann Sr. and Mark Dwinnell.
He is survived by: his children, Geraldine Pomplun (Roger) of New Auburn, MN and Gordon Bergs (Barb) of Arlington, MN; his grandchildren, Bradley Pomplun (Kerry) of Glencoe, MN and Carrie Eidem (Kyle) of Brooklyn Park, MN; and his great grandchild Chloe Eidem. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
