He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Zylstra and Wiepkje Zylstra; his wife Wiepkje Hesselius (Wilma); and his siblings, Peter Zylstra, Lucille Koster and Meindert Zylstra.
He is survived by: his daughters, Roely Lawrence (Wayne), Willie Wagner (Cor), Tena Zylstra and Sandra Gronberg (Glenn); his grandchildren, Lance Lawrence, Stephanie Davis, Koos Wagner, Kya Wagner, Nathan Wickman, Tanya Bigger, Garrett Gronberg and Kelsey Prodahl; and his siblings, Haye Zylstra, Bernie Zylstra and Tena Wolterstorf. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
