It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annette Irene Rhodes of Nevis, Minnesota, born in Sibley, Iowa, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Omke Engelkes and Emma Engelkes (Ommen); her husband Alden "Dusty" Rhodes; her brother Eddie Engelkes; and her son-in-law Kelly Poole.
She is survived by: her children, Randall, Lisabeth, Nick Rhodes (Jackie) of Jordan, MN, Randy Rhodes (Gwen) of Nevis and Beth Poole of Nevis; her siblings, David Engelkes (Diane) of Arnolds Park, Iowa, Carl Engelkes (Sandy) of Villard and Betty Pomrenke (Glendon) of Worthington, MN; and her grandchildren, Cassandra, Amber, Chantelle, Jamie, Rachelle, Kayla, Dustin, Amanda, Will, Shelby, Violet, Loren, Becky and Daisy. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
