She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvie Vokes and Olive Vokes (Martin); her sister Kay Tranby; and her siblings-in-law, Dennis Tranby and Judy Vokes (Tranby).
She is survived by: her children, Laurie Ann Evers (Martin) of Leonardtown, MD and Gary James Evers (Kami) of Ramsey, MN; her husband Gary Dale Evers of Nevis; and her siblings, Larry Vokes of Anoka, MN, Tommy Vokes (Bonnie) of Nevis and Janey Hill (Mike) of Cohasset, MN. She is also survived by six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be directed to St Joseph's Hospice.
