He was predeceased by: his parent Virginia; his grandparents, John and Mabel Wakemup; his pet Apollo; and his aunt Marge.
He is survived by: his parent Alice Wakemup; and his siblings, Carolyn Wakemup (Francis Littlewolf Jr.), Toni Wakemup (Charles Gruae), Chuck Holmes, Daniel Wakemup (Bea Vue-Benson) and David Wakemup (Angel Santeramo). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A wake was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Bois Forte Government and Services Center (5344 Lakeshore Dr, Nett Lake, MN 55772). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
