He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Olson and Evelyn Olson; his wife Konnie Johnson; his son-in-law Brendan O'Halloran (BR); his parents-in-law, Klaas and Leona Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Johnson, Klaas Jr. and Keith Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Audra Emerson (Todd) of Edina and Beth-Ann O'Halloran of Mankato; his granddaughters, Joely and Lila Emerson; his brothers, Denny (Vicki) of Braham and Duane Olson (Chris) of Braham; and his brother-in-law Kenny Johnson (Darlene) of Bloomington. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the giver's charity of choice.
