He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Burnham Tibbetts and Marian "Babe" Tibbetts (Sargent); his wife Carol of Naytahwaush; his children, Terrance Jr. of Naytahwaush, Crystell Tibbetts (Troy) of Naytahwaush, Theresa Tibbetts (Sewell) of Naytahwaush, Renee Tibbetts (Mark) of Naytahwaush, Tera Tibbetts (Randy) of Red Lake, MN and Marian Tibbetts (Charlie); his grandchildren, Doug, Jeff, Troy Jr., Jordyn, Patrick Jr., Christopher, Marcus, Renee, Alani, Randy Jr., Joe, JamiLynn, Aiden, Avery and Andrew; his siblings, Burnham "Buck" Tibbetts (Mary) of Naytahwaush, Marvin "Moss" Tibbetts (Lynn) of Naytahwaush, Bernard "Bimbo" Tibbetts (Bette) of Naytahwaush, Judy Tibbetts of Grand Portage, MN and Deb Uran (Tim) of Naytahwaush; his grandson Raymond Johnson III; his sisters, Ella Vogel, Joyce Sheer and Carol Tibbetts; and his nephews, Franklin Brown and Mossy Tibbetts.
