It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Monson (Murdock, Minnesota), born in Kerkhoven, Minnesota, who passed away on October 8, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Monson and Cora Monson (Finstad); and his brothers, James and Charles Monson. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Gafkjen; his children, Chris Quinn (Brian Kaufmann), Cari Monson and Lee Monson of Murdock; his grandchildren, Jessica Thomas of St. Cloud and Shane Quinn (Amy Johann) of Murdock; his great grandchildren, Darnell, Nevaeh, Darren, Thomas and Kaleb Johann; his siblings, Audre Wild of Little Rock, Sharon Pappas of Plymouth and Dennis Monson (Judy) of St. Louis Park; and his sisters-in-law, Rose Monson and Joyce Monson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
