He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Johnson and Linnea Johnson; his wife Barbara Johnson; and his siblings, Verne Johnson, George Johnson (Clara), Lorraine Sandberg (Conrad), Ardella Nelson and Darlene Kunkel (August).
He is survived by: his children, Steve Johnson (Marcia) of St Joseph, MN, James Johnson (Debra), Kevin Johnson (Kathy), Cindy Quiring (Tom) and Julie Falk (Larry); his grandchildren, Lisa Becker (Jamie), Mitchell Johnson (Maria), Brooke Olson (Cullen), Jessica Williams (Jeremy), Naomi Youngren (Derek), Jaclyn Gossen (Shawn), Spencer Johnson (Beth), Vincent Johnson (Brittany), Jacob Johnson (Elizabeth), Megan Pohlman (Ike), Hannah Kurtz (Thor), Heath Quiring (Taylor), Hunter Quiring (Laura), Joshua Falk (Courtney) and Mikayla Hempeck (Andrew); his brother Lester Johnson (Judi); and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Johnson and David Nelson. He is also survived by 36 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the American Lutheran Church (906 Prospect Ave, Windom, MN 56101). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
