With solemn reverence, we commemorate John Junior Jungas of Mountain Lake, Minnesota, whose life came to an end on February 2, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Jungas and Mildred Jungas; his parents-in-law, Henry and Elizabeth Lidfors; his sisters, Barb (Lee Loewen) and Lois (Jim Marston); and also, John and MaryBeth Lidfors.
He is survived by: his wife Becky Lidfors; his daughters, Kristin Smith (Kevin) and Karna Hagen (Dave); his grandchildren, Evan (Faith), Alex (Nicole), Madison and Cole (Meghan); his great grandchild Ava; and his sister-in-law Bernice (Rod). He is also survived by many nieces/nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel Mennonite Church (301 9th St N, Mountain Lake, MN 56159). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bethel Mennonite Church in Mountain Lake, MN.
