It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harvey Eldon Stoesz of Mountain Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on January 6, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dietrich D. Stoesz and Anna Stoesz (Fast); his former wife Hilda Thiessen; his wife Pearl Haglund; his brother Eldor; his daughter-in-law Donna Stoesz; his granddaughter Hannah Stoesz; and his great grandchild Maggie Hagen.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Stoesz (Michelle Beuning) of Shoreview, Becky Hagen (Rick) of Prior Lake, Rachel Janzen (Bill) of Mountain Lake, Jerome Stoesz (Marilyn) of Mountain Lake and Andrea Sindt (Chris) of Maplewood; his grandchildren, Kate Walker (Nate), Michael Stoesz (Samantha), Amy Stoesz, David Stoesz (Samantha), Jeffrey Hagen (Colleen), Allison Hagen, Tim Janzen (Laura), Sara Burgett (Allen), Angela Hall (Mike), Jordan Stoesz (Emily) and Darien Sindt (Katelyn); his great grandchildren, Noah, Sam, Ben Walker, Josiah Stoesz, Scarlett, Zoey Hagen, Madison Janzen, Addyson, Makiah, Olivia Hall, Owen and Tucker Sindt; his siblings, Edgar Stoesz, Helen Peifer and D. Junior Stoesz (Arlene); and his brother-in-law Melvin Hooge (Ethel).
He continued with as many activities as possible in the Good Samaritan Home until March, 2020 when he and all the other residents were put into a forced quarantine because of the COVID-19 virus.
Memorial contributions are preferred to the Mountain Lake Christian School.
