He is survived by: his children, Stan Loewen (Charlotte) of Mountain Lake and Nancy Loewen of St. Paul; his grandchildren, Louis Balcziak of Iowa City and Helena Balcziak of Minneapolis; his aunt Elfrieda Fast of Little Elm; and his uncle Alfred Loewen (Carol) of Seattle. He is also survived by his wife and partner.
