Though Edna Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edna Ruth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Karschnik and Lena Karschnik (Kruger); her husband Edward Kliewer; her brothers, Earl Karschnik (Arlene) and Harvey Karschnik (Virginia); her brother-in-law David O'Neil; and also Bounthavy Thammachanh (Dao).
She is survived by: her children, Greg Kliewer of Worthington and Kay Stevens (Vern) of Melba, ID; and her sister Elaine O'Neil of Tucker, Georgia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church-Mountain Lake (1418 2nd Ave, Mountain Lake, MN 56159). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
