He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Baerg and Maria Baerg (Penner); his wife Gail Baerg; his siblings, Anna Ruth Koehn (Clifford), Marie Oeltjenbruns (Albert), Henry Baerg (Martha) and Jacob Baerg (Millie); his sister-in-law Rosella Baerg; his niece Monica Fast; and his nephews, Mark and Joel Oeltjenbruns.
He is survived by: his children, Charles "Chuck" David Baerg (Anita) of Brooklyn Park and Lori Gail Baerg of Brooklyn Park; his grandchildren, Joshua Baerg and Courtney Heisterkamp (Aaron); and his siblings, Mathilda "Tillie" Erickson (DeWayne), Art Baerg and Paul Baerg (Corina). He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews; many cousins.
