She was predeceased by: her parents, John Saarela and Ina Saarela (Maki); her husband Hugo Aronen; her son David Aronen; her siblings, Ellen Harju, Helen Gave, Ailene Gulbranson, Doris Eliason, Esther Saarela and Marvin Saarela; her granddaughter Heidi Parent; and her son-in-law Larry Wiitala.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Aronen (Robin, family: Kristen Aronen, Leevi, Mikko, Ashley Bishop, Graeme, Robin, Charlie Lundblad), Sherry Wiitala (family: Heather Wiitala, Hannah, Selina Lillian, Leonardo) and Shelley Zeidler (Ed, family: Clayton Zeidler, Jillian, Vienna, Genevieve, Jeff Zeidler). She is also survived by extended family and friends.
