It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Gordon Meyer (Mounds View, Minnesota), who passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Melvin Gordon may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Meyer and Esther Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; and his children, Pamela Rinderknecht (Mike), Mark Meyer (Donna) and Brenda Schuerman (Larry).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (2848 County Rd I, Mounds View, MN 55112). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Morningside Memorial Gardens (11800 University Ave NW, Minneapolis, MN 55448).
