He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Friesen and Margaret Friesen; his wife Judy; and his brothers, Stan, Charles and Roger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shari, Cristin (René) and Erin; his grandsons, Emilio and Andres; and his sisters-in-law, Sandy Friesen and Sandra Friesen. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to University of Minnesota/Cardiology or Bethel Seminary.
