It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Harelson of Mounds View, Minnesota, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on July 28, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his children, Scott (Janet), Mark (Kerstin) and Anna (Greg); and his grandchildren, Brianna (Matthew), Elisabeth, Nicholaus, Micheal, Calvin, Katie (Chris), Conner and Joshua (Haekyung). He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren; other family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4 PM, on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Schumacher Field, 700 3rd Avenue SW Forest Lake, followed by a Meet and Greet at the Forest Lake American Legion Banquet Room A. Due to COVID-19 mandates, masks and social distancing will be observed.
In Jim's honor, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Forest Lake Athletic Association (FLAA). The donations will be used toward scholarships for traveling baseball.
