He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Ekanger (Hanson); his parents, Andrew Ekanger and Emma Ekanger (Husby); his siblings, Esther Pederson (Art), Charles Ekanger and Bertha Jacobson (James); his nephews, Marvin Pederson and Gordon Jacobson; and his parents-in-law, Carl and Agnes Hanson (Anderson).
He is survived by: his daughters, Barb Ekanger and Bev Ekanger; his sister-in-law Joyce Ekanger; and his nieces and nephews, Gary Pederson, Ron Pederson, Dave Pederson (Gloria), Duane Pederson (Jessica), Warren Pederson (Gloria), Dan Ekanger, Linda Stephens (Brad), Dave Ekanger, Darrel Jacobson and Mandie Jacobson. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to The Gideons International, KNWC – Life 96.5, or Redeemer Free Lutheran Church.
