He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Nellie; his former wife Elizabeth; and his siblings, Donald, Harry and Anna Marie.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Sandra Hanson (Daniel), Debra Haeg (Kevin), Cheryl Beshears (Mark), Linda Buehring (Taryn), Robert Breitbach (Diane), Donald Breitbach (Julie) and James Breitbach (Angela); and his sister Dorothy Carstens (Howard). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
