He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence and Zofia; and his siblings, John, Albert, Larry, Helen, Anne, Sophie Sue and Mary.

He is survived by: his wife Laura Sue (Gibson); his brother Joe; and his son Corey Gibson (Kristi). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
