James M. Splinter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2025, at the age of 62, James M. Splinter of Mound, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Splinter and Joyce Splinter (Kies); his brothers, Ralph and Ted Splinter; his stepfather Ken Splinter; his in-laws, Bill and Mary Habel (Green); and his sister-in-law Kelly Trumm (Habel).
He is survived by: his wife Vicki Splinter (Habel); his daughters, Averi Hoen (Kyle) and Haley Meschke (Tim); his granddaughters, Arya Hoen and Baby Meschke; his siblings, Renee Meyer (Mike), Tom Splinter (Janice) and John Splinter (Mary Jo); his siblings-in-law, Tony Habel (Kerry) and Kim Habel; and his stepmother Beth Splinter. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM and at 6:30 PM at the Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory (2595 Rockdale Rd, Dubuque, IA 52003).
