With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen M Halvarson of Mound, Minnesota, born in Winona, Minnesota, who passed away on October 14, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen M Halvarson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her children, Paul and Kathleen; her parents, William Kanz and Helen Kanz; and her siblings, Bill Kanz, Jim Kanz, Kathleen Anderson and Patricia Rudie.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Halvarson (Dick); and her children, Sue Grady (Dan), Rich Halvarson (DeAnn) and Jim Halvarson. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church (2385 Commerce Blvd, Mound, MN 55364). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials preferred to: Our Lady of the Lake Church or St. Jude Hospital.
