It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry M. McCoy of Motley, Minnesota, born in Baudette, Minnesota, who passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Harry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Harry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McCoy and Esther McCoy (Davidson); his wife Neva McCoy; and his daughter Jeanne Marie McCoy. He is survived by: his son Rex McCoy (Vangie); his stepson Ronald Welsh; his sister Shirley Feakes; and his grandchildren, Liana McCoy, Rebecca Beckrich, Sarah Bassett and Mike Toth.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Motley Free Methodist Church (33 Wellwood St, Motley, MN 56466). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
