He was predeceased by: his parents, George Johnson and Lybee Johnson; his wife Debra (Elliott); his sister Lynn Sapp (Doug); his in-laws, Donnie and Gloria Elliott; and his grandson Anthony "T. J." Johnson.
He is survived by: his son Richard Johnson (Heather) of Buffalo, MN; his grandchildren, Nicholas (Anna), Christopher, Erika (Ramiro Rivera) and Charles; his children, Jason Johnson (Krista Schardin) of Verndale, MN, Jessica, Christina and Brianna Johnson; his grandson Hunter; his grandchild-in-law Shawn Johnson (Kelly) of Brainerd, MN; and his great grandchildren, Adam, Aubrey, Brady and Cory. He is also survived by several sisters and brother-in-laws and nieces and nephews.
In honor of Barry's deep love for animals, the family asks that memorial donations be made to your local animal shelter.
