She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hayek and Mary Hayek (Wallenta); her husband Jim; and her siblings, Joseph Hayek, Jr., Mary Ann Hayek and Agnes Goblirsch.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Jo Khalil (Nick) of Eden Prairie, Dan (Bronwyn Collins) of Minneapolis and Ann Brazil Johnson (Mike) of Golden Valley; and her grandchildren, Chris (Emily), Michael, John Khalil, Rhys Brazil, Felix and Tatum Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association Minnesota.
