He is survived by: his wife Patricia Heacock; his children, Jerry Melchert (Pamela) of Faribault, Craig Melchert of Morristown, Dale Melchert (Chrissy) of Morristown, Tammy Melchert of Kasota, Pam Saxon (Steve) of Noblesville, IN and Brenda Potter (Rick) of Deltona, FL; and his siblings, Lowell Melchert (Debbie) of Faribault and Jean Melchert of Faribault. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
