“Marty and I met in England in 1976 as we were both serving in the US Air Force. E we’re fast friends and I attended his and Iris’ wedding and spent time working on cars with him at Wingfield Green where they lived. Attended various Autotest and hillclimb tournaments with him. Later he and Iris visited my wife and I in California in 1984. In 1996 I brought my family through Minnesota and we stopped to visit Marty on his property in Faribault. Marty was such a kind person. I will miss him.”
