She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Ritzschke and Viola Ritzschke (Huseth); her parents-in-law, Leonard and Esther Jacobson; and her siblings-in-law, Howard Tyberg, Richard Jacobson, Leonard Niemi, Lynn Jacobson and Doris Pattison.
She is survived by: her stepfather Lowell Meis; her husband Dale Jacobson of Morris; her children, Tamra Hanson (Ken) of Herman, Michael Jacobson (Marlene) of Elko and Curtis Jacobson (Kathy) of Morris; her grandchildren, Jennifer Newhouse (Troy), Josh Mau (Kelly), Erica Dolan (Brian), Derek Heywood, Wes Hoffman (Angie) and Lisa Gades (Randy); and her sister Karen Berkland (Marv) of Coon Rapids. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to be given to local charities in Zona's name.
