He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Horning and Lillian Horning (Berg); his son-in-law Rick Vipond; his siblings, Don Horning (Marilyn), Roger Horning (Nancy) and Dorothy Simpson (Gene); and his brother-in-law Bob Trost.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy of Morris; his children, Kathy Blasing (Butch) of Brainerd, Mike Horning of Vail, CO, Larry Horning (Deb) of Virginia, Kristi Vipond (John) of Lucile, ID, Lee Horning (Judy) of Indio, CA, Daniel Horning of St. Joseph and Kelly Horning (Tami) of St. Joseph; and his siblings, Ted Horning (Adrienne) of Plymouth, Marilyn Trost of Fergus Falls, Sharon Sundquist (Don) of Vonore, TN, Judy Rethmeier (Ken) of Loveland, CO and Curt Horning (Janna). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
