Wallace Horning Obituary
In loving memory of Wallace Horning of Morris, Minnesota, who departed this world on March 15, 2025 at the age of 91. Wallace leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Horning and Lillian Horning (Berg); his son-in-law Rick Vipond; his siblings, Don Horning (Marilyn), Roger Horning (Nancy) and Dorothy Simpson (Gene); and his brother-in-law Bob Trost.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy of Morris; his children, Kathy Blasing (Butch) of Brainerd, Mike Horning of Vail, CO, Larry Horning (Deb) of Virginia, Kristi Vipond (John) of Lucile, ID, Lee Horning (Judy) of Indio, CA, Daniel Horning of St. Joseph and Kelly Horning (Tami) of St. Joseph; and his siblings, Ted Horning (Adrienne) of Plymouth, Marilyn Trost of Fergus Falls, Sharon Sundquist (Don) of Vonore, TN, Judy Rethmeier (Ken) of Loveland, CO and Curt Horning (Janna). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (206 4th St E, Herman, MN 56248).
