He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Carrington (Ehrnst) and Lawrence Carrington; his wife Laura Carrington; and his brothers, Lawrence Carrington and Donald Carrington.
He is survived by: his children, Anna Vikander (David) of Granite Falls and Matthew Carrington (Holly) of Morris; his grandchildren, Amber Overweg (Jason), Ashley Vikander, Austin Vikander, Taylor Carrington, Meredith Carrington and Madison Carrington; his great grandchildren, Kennedy Hof and Ayden Syll; and his siblings, Mary Johnson, Peggy Wilson, Florence Eisenmenger (Richard), Agnes Miltenberger (Jerry), Janet Kehoe (Vince), David Carrington and Gene Carrington (Connie Drewelow).
The family would prefer memorials to the Morris American Legion.
